Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Fonster website (the "Service") operated by Fonster ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

1. Service Description

Fonster is a platform that connects users ("you") seeking home maintenance and improvement services with independent, third-party contractors ("Contractors") who may be available to perform such services. We act as a facilitator to help you find and connect with these Contractors.

2. Relationship with Contractors

You acknowledge that Fonster does not directly provide home services and we are not a contractor. The Contractors in our network are independent entities, not employees or agents of Fonster. Any agreement you enter into with a Contractor is solely between you and the Contractor. We are not a party to that agreement.

While we vet contractors based on certain criteria, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services they provide. It is your responsibility to assess the suitability of any Contractor for your needs.

3. User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when submitting a service request.
• You are responsible for negotiating the terms of any work with the Contractor, including scope, timing, and payment.
• You agree to treat Contractors with respect and provide a safe environment for them to perform their work.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fonster shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use of the Service; (ii) any services provided by a Contractor; (iii) any conduct of any third party on the service.

Our liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us for the service.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service or the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
