The shutters and doors at a Franschhoek home had worked loose over time and the varnish had taken a knock, the kind of wear that starts looking shabby and eventually leads to bigger problems. Braced and fixed everything back into position, then sanded and varnished the lot properly. The shutters hang right again and the timber is protected going into winter.
