Opening Up a Home the Right Way
Our Panorama renovation team manages open-plan conversions in Panorama — typically removing the wall between a kitchen and living or dining area to create one connected space. The critical first step is establishing whether the wall is load-bearing. If it is, a structural engineer specifies the steel beam or lintel that carries the load, and we install it before any demolition is completed. Skipping that step is how cracked ceilings and sagging rooflines happen.
What the Project Includes
A proper conversion is more than knocking out a wall: electrical points and switches in the wall are relocated, plumbing is rerouted if the kitchen layout changes, ceilings and cornices are patched to match, and the flooring is tied in so the join does not show. We coordinate the engineer, the demolition, and every finishing trade on one timeline — most projects are quoted after a free on-site visit.
